How to apply for a Job

This article explains how to submit a job application to recruiters via the Pulsifi platform. 


There are two ways candidates can apply to a job:

  1. You can access jobs posted on a hiring organization’s website, a recruitment website or social media. 


OR 


  1. You might receive an email invitation to apply for a job from a recruiter, such as the one below. For applications via invitation, simply click on GET STARTED to start the application process. 


*Do note that even if you have an existing account with Pulsifi, you still need to click on the job link for it to appear in your account. 


Accessing the Job


  1. If you have an existing Pulsifi account, clicking on the job link will lead you to an application page with a full description of the job role. Click on APPLY NOW to proceed with your application. 



  1. If you do not have an existing Pulsifi account, click on CREATE ACCOUNT and select your preferred log in mode - Facebook, Google, LinkedIn or use your email address and password. 



  1. If you create an account using your email address and password, a verification email will be sent to your inbox or spam folder. Click on YES, IT’S ME to complete the verification process and access your account. 



  1. If you have an existing account with Pulsifi, clicking on APPLY  NOW will lead you to a log in page. Simply log in to begin your application. 


  1. Click on DON’T REMEMBER YOUR PASSWORD? to reset a forgotten password. However, if you created your account via a social media log in, do log in using the correct social media account. No password reset email will be sent to you in this case. 




Completing Your Application


Every job link you click on will display the job in your Pulsifi account. 


Click on CONTINUE to begin your application or to complete your application to a job. 



If no jobs appear in your Pulsifi account, it means you have not clicked on the job link. Go back to the recruitment website and click on the job link or look up the invitation email and click on the GET STARTED button. 










  1. The following screen will appear for jobs requiring your resume and personal information. Complete this section first, then complete the required assessments. Not that not all jobs require candidates to undertake assessments. 



  1. For jobs that do not require your resume and personal information, the assessments page is the first screen you will see. 


  1. Check that you’ve completed the required assessments under each assessment tab. Not that different jobs might require different assessments. 






  1. Completed applications will be marked as COMPLETED, as below. This means that your application has been submitted and no further action is required until you are contacted by a recruiter.






  1. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by recruiters. Note that not all candidates are guaranteed a notification of their application status - this is up to the recruiters’ discretion. If you would like an update on your application status, get in touch directly with the recruiters via their recruitment website or social media channels.
