Completing your Assessments

I may have entered a wrong answer in the assessment. Will this affect my results?

While all responses are taken into account when understanding your personality, the assessments are designed to account for such instances. An incorrect answer will not have an adverse effect on your score. 

 

 

There is no code for me to access the video interview.

If you are using a desktop computer, you can access the video interview directly by signing in to your Pulsifi account and clicking on the video interview box. We recommend using Google Chrome browser, having a stable internet connection, ensuring your camera and mic are working and having a few practice rounds before you start recording.

 

If you are using a mobile device, you need to download the Astronaut application from Google Play or Apple Store first. Once it’s downloaded, refer to your Pulsifi profile page and click refresh for the video interview code. Enter the code into the Astronaut app and you should be able to start recording your interview.

 

If you still cannot access the video interview, contact us via the Contact Us page with detailed information and screenshots or a video of the error  (do include a view of the address bar and taskbar) and we will work to resolve the issue.

 

 

My camera and/or microphone is not working for the video interview — what should I do?

This usually happens when the microphone or webcam is not turned on. Please check their settings by follow these instructions:

 

For Windows 10, go to Start > Settings > Privacy > Slide the toggle to "On" for both Camera and Microphone

 

For MacOS, go to Menu > System Preferences > Security and Privacy > Privacy > Camera > check Google Chrome; and do the same for the microphone.

 

 

If the issue persists, contact us via the Contact Us page with detailed information and screenshots or a video of the error  (do include a view of the address bar and taskbar) and we will work to resolve the issue.

 

 

I completed all assessments but it isn’t reflecting on my profile and I’m still receiving reminder emails to complete the assessments.

This could be happening due to one of the following reasons:

  1. The system may still be in the midst of updating your status. Contact us via the Contact Us page to check the status of your assessments. 

  2. You have created more than one account using different emails or different login methods. When this is the case, the system triggers reminder emails to the account that has not completed the assessments. 

You can choose to either ignore the reminder emails or withdraw from the job application to stop receiving them.

 

 

I have not heard back on my application.

For all job applications, the decision to contact candidates regarding their application status lies with the recruiter.

 

Pulsifi is not involved in the selection or shortlisting process and we do not have the power to issue or determine your application status.

 

You can also get in touch with the recruiter or company via their website or social media for an update on your application.

Why is my job application status displayed as Complete even though I have not done my assessments and/or video interview?

This is because you are not required to move on to the next stage of the application until the recruiter contacts you. If your application displays as Complete, rest assured that you have made a full submission.

 

I was under the impression that I would be invited to undertake assessments once I applied for a position but did not receive an invitation link. My application status, however, is marked as Complete. Why is this? 

Many positions require certain criteria to be fulfilled before a candidate is granted an assessment opportunity. These criteria are not known to Pulsifi and are part of the Recruiter’s shortlisting process. Although the job advertised may have mentioned that assessments would be part of the application process, the opportunity is only granted to candidates who fulfill the required criteria. 



Why are my assessments displayed as Complete in my job application?

All completed assessments are valid for one year. If you have previously completed assessments and are now applying for a new job requiring the same assessments within a one-year period, you will not be required to retake the assessments.


Can I pause in the middle of my video interview?

No, you will not be able to pause while in the middle of responding to an interview question. Once the timer is up, the interview up to that point will be saved and submitted for the last attempt. You can, however, stop in between questions and return at a later time to continue to the next interview question.
